The Waterfront Hotel

Involvement is this project began in July 2002 with the preparation of initial estimates based upon concept drawings. As the project was approved to proceed, ICE Electrical was involved in the electrical design for the project in conjunction with local Architects Boon Goldsmith Bhaskar, and construction company Cleland’s Construction Ltd.

Design included all power and lighting requirements, main distribution and electrical supply company requirements, master TV aerial system, structured cabling system for phones and data within the hotel and restaurant.

Work began in August 2002 with the project due for completion on May 2003. The project involved a number of staff including electricians, TV aerial technician, data technician and project management and oversight. A total of approximately 3000 man hours were required to successfully complete the project in late May 2003.

Part of the Waterfront Hotel, The Salt Restaurant fit out was completed in addition to the main hotel fit out. This involved specialist lighting and general power to the restaurant area, sound system cabling and installation of in house speakers and music system.

The main restaurant kitchen fit out included the installation and connection of equipment associated with a modern commercial kitchen.
