What are the requirements for an Apprenticeship?

NCEA Level 2 or equivalent

Strong interest in the electrical field.

Good communication skills and a team player mentality.

Willingness to learn and take direction.

Basic maths and problem-solving skills.

Restricted or Higher clean driver licence

Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
What does a typical apprenticeship look like?
Year 1
Complete first year apprenticeship credits, on the job training, attend block course.
Year 2
Includes all year 1 activities, guidance through a series of on-the-job learnings with qualified tradespeople.
Years 3 & 4
Includes all year 1 & 2 activities. Site electrical theory and regulations exams, work towards qualification.
