Te Kuiti Footbridge Replacement Project

Even through a world-wide pandemic and long lockdowns, ICE Electrical partnered with Fulton Hogan and executed this Waitomo District Council project “Te Kuiti Footbridge” (crossing over the Railway track and line which connects Carroll Street and Rora Street in Te Kuiti) under budget and achieved a high level of quality.

The project involved installing a staggered-layout of handrail lighting to light up the pedestrian pathway throughout the entire bridge and a series of Spotlights were installed on the underside of the bridge and along the spiral on-ramp (Carroll Street side) to light up the basketball court located in the centre of the circle for a competitive night game of basketball.

All up, it was a job well done – a great project outside the Taranaki region for ICE Electrical.
